So, Taurus, are you ready to rock-n’-roll this year? Hey, if you are wise, you will be making quite some money in 2020! Because this seems to be a prosperous year for a lot of you. We start with Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, in Capricorn (that sign that loves work, even on its free time!) for the whole year of 2020.

This could be good news at work, maybe a promotion for some of you; or a business growing. For those of you who have been struggling to find a job, 2020 seems promising.

The Sun and Mercury are also in Capricorn, in your 9th house which touch those cool areas of life like trips, good fortune, and higher education. This is a very productive energy, motivating you to go-go-GO for your goals. There might be some overseas or across the country trips for business during this year for you. It is also a good time to share your knowledge and skills. Maybe it is time to start a YouTube channel, a website, or even writing a book. So, if those were on your mind for quite some time, press the gas pedal in 2020!

On January 4th Mars enters Sagittarius in your 8th house. To me, the 8th house is always a very intense house. It talks about birth, death, going deep into things, and someone else’s finances. Oh, and sex; let’s not forget sex. Basically it talks about transformation. Now, Mars in Sagittarius is like making a smoothie with black coffee, Mentos, Coca-Cola, and Red Bull… Prost!

That burst of energy will need you to harness it and guide it to what you really want to get done in 2020 – I vote for your finances – Put your finances in order, seek a financial advisor, if necessary; and most of all focus that energy on the compass of your life. What do you want to be doing five years from now? Where do you want to be living? What are the steps you need to take to get there?

Venus is in Aquarius until the 13th (again, it depends on your time zone, so the 12th for some of you, but I will be selfishly here and refer to dates according to my own time zone, okay?) We all know that Venus is the goddess of love, but the point here is actually Aquarius which is a very collective, social, group type of energy. Aquarius is also a bit rebellious against the status quo, hates to be told what to do, and actually loves to be in control of the steering wheel. Since this is happening in your 10th house (work, career), you might be inclined to set yourself free from that which is not serving you any good anymore. Maybe a work situation, or work itself. This is all part of you setting the GPS of your life to where you really want to go. But, it doesn’t even have to be that drastic for most of you. Maybe just throwing a project that was going nowhere into the trash bin is all you need. You know, starting all over again? Hey, this is a New Year in a New Decade! Reinvent yourself! Dare to start over! Going back to the drawing board might be the wisest attitude for you.

Also, as the rebellious Aquarius point out, you might be a bit more  demanding in your relationships. You need someone who can understand you, Taurus. Someone who you can actually talk to. And for that you might want to have a closer look at the relationship you are in. Is your partner truly there for you? Does your partner cheer you on, push you forward and share your dreams?

Ooops, we skipped January 10th. A Lunar Eclipse is happening then in your 3rd house (friendship, communication). Eclipses herald news of BIG events in our lives. And since it will be happening in your friendship house, this could be very good news with a friend, as well as very bad news. Eclipse energy lasts about 6 months, so these things could happen within six months of the Eclipse.

On January 14th sexy Venus enters Pisces in your 11th house, which is your social house. You know that “just friends” person? – *coughs* – well, you might FINALLY realize that it’s a tad bit more than that.

Mercury enters Aquarius on January 17th, in your 10th house (work, career). My feeling is that the cosmos here are asking you to also take to heart some social causes. Maybe you could volunteer in an orphanage, or animal shelter. But the point here is  to broaden your work from personal financial gain, to charitable work where your biggest gain is contributing to a higher cause.

Finally, on the 21st the Sun enters Aquarius, and on the 24th a new moon is in Aquarius, all in your 10th house (work, career). So, you see that your 10th house is pretty much highlighted there throughout the whole month. For those of you fed up with your work, this is yet another call to rethink your career.
